Responsibilities

As a Data Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate on business development and operations in Cloud Analytics projects.
  • Manage technical and economic aspects of 3-4 concurrent projects, including deadlines, risks, financial management, margins, and team workloads.
  • Engage with clients and build strategic alliances.
  • Leverage commercial expertise in Data initiatives (Assessment, Datalake, BI, Data Strategy, MLOps, DataOps).
  • Manage key accounts and lead commercial activities such as pre-sales and RFP responses; define architectures and data solutions.
  • Oversee teams or manage a P&L with approximately 10-20 members.

Technical Expertise

A strong management and commercial understanding of analytics architectures both in Cloud and on-premise environments is required, including:

  • Cloudera & Hortonworks (Hadoop ecosystem)
  • Amazon Web Services (Lambda, Glue, S3, Redshift, Athena, Spectrum, Kinesis)
  • Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Datalake, Synapse, Analysis Services, Azure SQL, Databricks, Delta Lake, PowerBI)
  • Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Dataflow, BigQuery, Data Studio)
  • SQL (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, etc.)
  • Kafka (+Kafka Connect, +KafkaSQL)
  • Snowflake
