Overview
Our Deloitte Cyber team faces unique cybersecurity challenges and delivers powerful solutions through managed services and innovative approaches. The role of Cyber Identity Data Protection and Encryption Manager involves advising clients, developing encryption strategies, managing PKI systems, and ensuring data protection across hybrid, on-premises, and cloud environments.
The Team
Work within the Cyber Strategy & Transformation team to design and transform client cyber programs. Focus on governance, risk assessments, and aligning cyber programs with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
Work You'll Do
- Advise clients on strategic and practical encryption and data protection requirements.
- Design, implement, and operate encryption strategies, including PKI and certificate lifecycle management.
- Monitor certificate infrastructures to avoid downtime and security breaches.
- Lead client engagements, manage project timelines, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging encryption technologies such as post-quantum cryptography and confidential computing.
Qualifications
Required: 7+ years in data protection and information security, 4+ years managing encryption technologies, 4+ years on data protection strategies, and a relevant Bachelor's degree. Ability to travel 25-50% is required.
Preferred: Experience in quantum readiness, public cloud security, vendor relationship management, and professional certifications like CISSP or CISM.
Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $144,200 - $265,600, with eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program.
