Overview
The Communications Manager GPS role at Deloitte focuses on turning complex priorities into clear, compelling messages across multiple channels including DNet, Knowledge Exchange, Deloitte.com, and social media. The role supports the Office of the Chief Operations Officer (OCOO) and partners with Government & Public Services (GPS) stakeholders and senior leaders to drive measurable engagement and strengthen the Operations Excellence brand.
Work You Will Do
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans with defined audiences, key messages, channel strategies, and metrics.
- Brand Stewardship: Serve as a guardian of the Deloitte brand with consistent messaging, voice, and visual standards.
- Stakeholder Management & Advisory: Advise senior leadership, coordinate with teams, and ensure alignment of communications.
- Digital Channel Management: Manage intranet and digital platforms and drive adoption of emerging digital approaches, including GenAI and interactive storytelling.
- Content Innovation: Translate strategic priorities into clear narratives, campaigns, and audience-tailored content.
- Process Improvement & Measurement: Use data-driven approaches to measure engagement and continuously improve content workflows.
The Team
The OCOO team is dynamic and fast-paced, connecting stakeholders and driving execution on key GPS priorities. The team supports the GPS COO and plays a central role in operational support and growth.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree; 5+ years of experience in internal/external communications in complex, matrixed organizations; proven executive communication and stakeholder advisory skills; demonstrated ability to translate strategy into compelling narratives; content management across digital channels; excellent editorial judgment and project management discipline; must be legally authorized to work in the United States; ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred: Experience in operations, transformation, or enterprise priorities in a professional services environment; familiarity with digital analytics; experience with modern communication formats such as podcasts, interactive storytelling, and GenAI-enabled workflows.
Compensation and Additional Information
The wage range for this role is estimated between $97,900 to $163,100, with potential eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program. Deloitte emphasizes accommodation support for applicants with disabilities.
