Who We Are Looking For

At Deloitte, we are passionate about building strategies and solutions that help our clients solve complex business problems. For our fast-growing Engineering practice in Central Europe, and in the context of a large transformation program in the financial sector focusing on Customer Experience, we are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Cloud Architect AWS to design and deliver AWS distributed systems architecture for contact center solutions.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of practical experience designing distributed systems, ideally in the financial sector.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international team.
• Experience in distributed systems architecture, integration patterns, and fit-gap analysis.
• Deep understanding of networking architecture, at-rest and in-transit security, API Gateways.
• Ability to explain complex problems in a simple way.
• Experience working in Waterfall test cycles as well as Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding of AWS Services (e.g., Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Kinesis, SQS, EventBridge, S3, EC2, ECS Fargate).
• Basic knowledge of data integrations (data lakes, ETL/ELT, etc).
• Understanding of architecture paradigms such as scalability, high availability, especially in AWS serverless architectures.
• Understanding of DevOps processes.

Nice to have:

• Experience integrating front-end applications (e.g., Customer portals, Mobile apps) with backend services using REST/SOAP/Webhooks.
• Experience in IDM space (SSOs, MFAs, etc).
• Knowledge of Contact Center processes (identification, authentication, authorization, 360 view, callback, call forwarding, DTMF, IVR, call routing).
• AWS certifications related to serverless architectures and DevOps.

Your Future Role

As an Associate Cloud Architect AWS, you will act as a supporting architect for large-scale, multi-release transformation programs. Your responsibilities will include creating solution architecture/strawman diagrams with tech leads, depicting end-to-end working solutions across various domains. You will participate in solution architecture review sessions with business and IT stakeholders, ensuring compliance with both functional and non-functional requirements. You will also drive delivery teams to keep Low-Level Designs (LLD) in line with the foreseen solution architecture, participate in DevOps/Release strategy creation by providing solution input, and collaborate with delivery teams to optimize SDLC processes based on architectural possibilities and constraints.
