About the AI Engineer Role
Deloitte is seeking a contract AI Engineer specializing in Google ADK, LLM, ML, and Agent-to-Agent communication. This role involves designing, building, and deploying AI agents, as well as implementing scalable solutions across hybrid infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents using Google’s Agent Development Kit and Vertex AI Agent Builder.
- Develop and orchestrate Agent-to-Agent communication flows for collaboration and task delegation.
- Implement LLM-based components, prompt templates, function calling, and structured outputs.
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines integrating Vertex AI Search, vector databases, and document stores.
- Engineer context and memory modules defining knowledge retrieval and session continuity.
- Develop API integrations for real-time data exchange between agents and backend services.
- Collaborate with data and ML teams on ML workflows including preprocessing, fine-tuning, deployment, and monitoring.
- Apply prompt engineering and grounding techniques to ensure model responses are accurate and compliant.
- Ensure scalability, observability, and compliance of deployed agents across hybrid infrastructures.
- Partner with Data Engineers, UI/UX teams, AI Architects, and Product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Handle quantitative and numerically heavy use cases.
- Work on banking related AI/GenAI use cases.
