Role Overview

Join the Navigation domain at the Merchandising Tribe and help redefine how customers experience quick commerce. As a Staff Product Designer, you will lead design and impact across undefined problem spaces within the Item Navigation domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Catalog Browsing: Design seamless systems to deliver merchandising data quickly.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Senior Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and cross-domain experts.
• Systems Design: Engage in technical discussions on ranking models, data pipelines, and system logic.
• Federated Design Leadership: Connect with global platform teams and share best practices.
• Discovery & Validation: Design and analyze experiments to transform data into actionable design insights.
• Holistic Experience: Oversee the end-to-end item discovery process from navigation to ranking.
• UX Communication: Clearly articulate design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Applicants must have extensive experience designing and shipping data-rich products for mobile and web platforms, a strong portfolio demonstrating work on complex systems (personalization, search, or recommendation engines), and proficiency collaborating with technical teams. Fluency in English and excellent communication skills are a must.

Nice to Have

Experience in e-commerce, q-commerce, or marketplace environments and direct experience in designing for ranking, personalization, or search algorithms are highly valued.
