Job Description

Join our Vendor Data team as our Principal Data Scientist - Economics. In this role, you will design, build, and implement advanced monetization and pricing models impacting hundreds of thousands of restaurants and local businesses globally. Your work will unlock new revenue streams, optimize vendor monetisation, and drive data-driven decision making that shapes our global bottom line.

  • Lead development of econometric and machine learning models.
  • Design and analyze experiments and A/B tests.
  • Present research and recommendations to senior executives.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Product, and Data Engineering teams.
  • Support high-impact projects with financial significance.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Economics or a similar field is required, along with 5+ years of data science experience, ideally in Revenue Management, Pricing, or Monetization Analytics. You should be proficient in Python and/or R, SQL (preferably with BigQuery), and data visualization tools like Tableau.
