Job Description

Delivery Hero is seeking a hands-on Senior Data Scientist (Agentic AI) to join the Vendor Data Team. In this role, you will transcend traditional prompt engineering by building autonomous agent systems that generate their own prompts, employ tools for real-world actions, and use judge models to validate outputs. Your work will go beyond research notebooks and into shipping dynamic AI-native products.

• Architect and deploy agent-based systems using frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Build and optimize Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines from data chunking to vector search.
• Fine-tune and evaluate LLMs for reliability, relevance, and factuality.
• Design evolving prompt and memory systems driven by LLMs and user feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product, research, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Strong machine learning fundamentals, expertise in NLP and LLMs, prompt engineering skills, and experience with data wrangling using libraries like Pandas and NumPy. Exposure to evaluation metrics for generative models and fine-tuning on Hugging Face models is essential. Nice-to-have skills include open-source model experience, prompt injection defenses, and deploying generative AI in products.
