The Role

At Deliveroo, our data science organisation is dedicated to enabling top quality human and machine decision-making across product, business and platform teams. As a Data Analyst, you will harness metrics and tell the stories hidden within data to drive impactful business decisions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborate with commercial stakeholders to enhance data availability and business impact.
• Discover, analyze, and interpret trends in complex datasets.
• Deliver actionable insights and ad-hoc analyses to executive teams.
• Identify key business drivers and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Work with Analytics Engineers on data quality and automation.
• Share best analytical practices across teams and regions.

Requirements

• Expertise in SQL query writing and database structures.
• Proven skills in data storytelling and crafting visualizations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/GSheets with pivot tables and functions.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Periscope.
• Ability to identify root causes, assess risks, and implement solutions.
