Overview
The Business Development Executive at Delinian is responsible for driving new business growth through net new logo wins and strategic relationship building in the capital markets community. With over 35 years in the industry, our team provides independent news, insight, and transparency into primary DCM activity.
Job Purpose
This role includes managing an individual new business target and partnering closely with marketing and AMS teams to generate and convert leads.
Principal Responsibilities
- Drive growth by securing new business across core markets.
- Collaborate with marketing to quickly handle inbound leads.
- Log all sales activity in Salesforce, including call logs and renewal opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with the editorial team for market insight.
- Report weekly to the Head of Sales and Head of Account Management.
- Identify new opportunities with the AMS team via events and conferences.
- Meet monthly new business targets and key performance indicators.
- Develop deep, trusted advisor relationships with the securitization community.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- Strong objection handling and customer insight interpretation.
- Proven record of exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Solid understanding of capital markets and key customer drivers.
- Integrity, accuracy and a passion to succeed.
Experience
Preferred candidates will have B2B media experience, a track record in sales and market intelligence/data, and demonstrated new business growth.
