Seasonal Host at Delaware North

Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring a Seasonal Host to join our team at Rowland's Bar and Grill in New York, New York. This is a tipped position where the hourly minimum pay is $18.00, exclusive of any additional tipped earnings.

Job Duration

The position is seasonal: from October through December, until January 1st.

Responsibilities

  • Review floor plan and reservation book daily.
  • Create seating charts and seat guests.
  • Maintain control of wait times.
  • Inspect dining and serving areas for cleanliness and setup.
  • Interact with guests ensuring satisfaction and addressing complaints.
  • Answer phone calls during operational hours.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

  • Prior guest service experience preferred.
  • High energy level in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to remain on feet for entire shift.
  • Ability to maneuver around tables and lift up to 35 pounds.
