A Day in the Life and the Impact You’ll Make:
The Executive Consultant manages the highest executive relationship with the client and is responsible for guiding the entire project. The Executive Lead Consultant has overall responsibility for project execution, client results and the client relationship. This role serves as the overall Program Manager and may have additional Lead Consultants/Project Managers reporting to them, depending on the size and complexity of the engagement. There is major emphasis on both 1. increasing consulting skills through development and coaching of project teams, and, 2. delivering solutions that yield safety performance results and ROI for our clients. The Executive Consultant must be able to become a long-term trusted advisor to executives and is expected to uncover opportunities to expand the depth and duration of the engagement.
What You’ll Do
This Executive Consultant is primarily responsible for leading large complex client engagements, coaching executives, becoming a trusted advisor, expanding the scope and breadth of the client engagement, and assuring that their team can deliver our primary Consulting solutions with excellence. To be successful in this role, the Executive Consultant will need a deep understanding of our centerline solutions, be able to adapt these solutions to meet client objectives and understand how the offering can be integrated into the client organization. The Executive Consultant must also understand the role of governance, understand statistics, and have a systems orientation. And, be able to develop these capabilities in others through coaching and mentoring. The Executive Consultant often leads a project team as part of their scope of work.

Client Facing Responsibilities
- Coach client Executives and become their trusted advisor.
- Fluency delivering DEKRA’s Executive Leading with Safety® program as well as other solutions.
- Track progress in meeting client objectives and adjust when necessary
- Guide and facilitate governance
- Communicate routinely and effectively to the client leadership team
- Tell the truth to the client, even when it’s hard to do so
- Understand the client’s objectives and needs to then adapt the centerline model for the client engagement that will give greatest probability of achieving success.
Team Responsibilities
- Enable and manage the success of the project team
- Assure solutions are integrated and aligned toward meeting client objectives
- Communicate routinely and effectively to delivery team, and the overall project team
- Assure the project team delivers to the client’s adaptation of the centerline, across all parts of the client organization.
- Deliver performance-related feedback to individual consultants, including areas for improvement, and recognition for positive contributions.
- Collaborate with the managers of project team members on growth and development and work/personal life balance.
Business Responsibilities
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by actively participating, taking responsibility, and following established procedures and policies.
- Maintain a complete and accurate project plan for the life of the project
- Manage the project toward the stated realization rate, ensuring effective utilization of consultants
- Achieve monthly forecast accuracy
- Expand the scope of client relationships and maintain long term engagements by identifying additional areas of opportunity and surface to DEKRA.

Physical Considerations:
- Must be able to work in a variety of client locations, environments, and conditions. This may include climbing stairs, walking long distances, walking on rough and uneven terrain, walking through client work facilities, working in heat/cold conditions, indoors and outdoors.
- Must be able to accommodate working various shifts as client activities are scheduled.
- Must be able to withstand the rigors of extensive travel.
- May require difficult travel and long periods of driving.
- Ability to move and conduct work with full range of motion.

Compensation
What You’ll Receive for the Value You Bring:
The base pay for this position is $185,000 annually to $225,000 annually. Actual pay is based on several factors including market location and position-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
