Original Job Summary

Major Duties

Serving as a member of a strategic supplier support relationship team, providing planning services for assigned customers and categories of items. Developing plans for highly complex and critical items requiring strategic alliances, partnerships, prime vendors, and long-term contracts. Analyzing supplier collaboration intelligence to maximize efficiencies for DLA Direct and Customer Direct items. Coordinating with high-level personnel for successful fielding and continuous improvement of key DLA initiatives. Conducting item reviews for unique characteristics and applying allocation strategies for planned orders and arrivals. Developing budgetary elements for expected and unexpected expenditures.

Qualification Summary

Candidates must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11 level. Experience includes analyzing and resolving complex inventory management issues, supporting strategic supply management and procurement partnerships, forecasting and researching supply planning adjustments, and providing technical support in acquisition management and logistics. Volunteer experience is also considered.
