Role Overview
The Forward Deployed Engineer will build full-stack AI systems and integrations, partner with customer teams, and drive adoption of innovative solutions. This role requires proficiency in JS/TS or Python, an openness to work with AWS/k8s, and a demonstrated ability in customer-facing environments.
Your Responsibilities
- Build full-stack AI systems and integrations for customer value.
- Partner with customer teams to understand needs and guide AI solution adoption.
- Translate requirements into workflows and deliver complex systems fast.
- Contribute production code and codify effective working patterns.
- Collaborate with research and product teams to refine DeepL Agent offerings.
Qualities We Look For
A self-starter who is hands-on, adaptable, and can navigate complex technical projects. Proficiency in production code writing in JS/TS or Python, readiness to work on infrastructure and deployment, and strong customer engagement skills are essential. Travel is required, with a preference for based in Munich.
