Overview
Joining DEEP as a Data Governance Specialist means taking charge of developing and implementing data governance strategies for both DEEP and its clients. You will be responsible for evaluating data governance maturity, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and improve data governance maturity within the organization.
- Analyze data risks and implement risk management measures.
- Conduct audits and enforce compliance with governance policies.
- Define standards, policies, and guidelines for data management.
- Design data governance processes covering collection, storage, usage, and protection.
- Establish monitoring mechanisms for data policy adherence.
- Train staff on data governance principles and best practices.
- Consult with clients, develop dashboards, manage access, metadata, master data and data quality.
Candidate Profile
To succeed as a Data Governance Specialist at DEEP, candidates must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 7 years in data governance and strategy. A strong analytical mindset and solution orientation are essential. In-depth knowledge of data management technologies such as Data Quality Management, Master Data Management, Metadata Management, and Data & AI Platform is required. Proficiency in French and English is necessary; knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish is a plus.
