Summary

As a Team Lead, Engineering, Fintech, you will lead two cross-functional teams, each comprising 6-10 members, to achieve key organizational objectives. Your responsibilities will include managing and mentoring these teams, as well as actively participating in application design and web development to deliver effective solutions and results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide input at all stages of the Development Lifecycle: Design, coding, testing, and production release.
  • Craft web applications that adhere to accessibility standards and Test-Driven Development (TDD) best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with design and product teams to create exceptional product experiences.
  • Deliver clean, efficient code within an agile team environment.
  • Push boundaries through rapid prototyping and iterative development, consistently driving innovation.
  • Cultivate a passion for technology and the development of cutting-edge, scalable, and robust software systems.
  • Design and architect software for distributed systems demanding high-performance, scalability, and availability.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to your team members.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to elevate the team's excellence in Node and Java web applications.
  • Explore new avenues for innovation via rapid prototyping and iterative development.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in JavaScript (Node.js, React.js) for application design, development, and testing.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and experience building applications with RESTful APIs.
  • Proven experience leading small teams while maintaining a hands-on technical contribution.
  • A passionate commitment to creating exceptional user experiences.
  • An eagerness to learn, experiment, and drive innovation.
  • Skilled in managing cross-browser, cross-platform, and design challenges effectively.
  • Experienced in writing and executing automated tests (unit, functional, integration).
