About The Role: Staff Product Manager, Immigration

We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented Staff Product Manager to spearhead the development of AI-driven immigration technology. This role will enable fast, compliant, and automated visa case management across U.S. and global markets. You will envision and execute streamlined visa case processing for employer-sponsored and standalone immigration pathways, with a strong emphasis on compliance, speed, and exceptional user experience. You'll collaborate directly with C-level executives to define product vision, prioritize growth opportunities, manage senior stakeholder needs, and deliver features that enhance global mobility, reduce processing times, and drive revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex legal and immigration frameworks (e.g., H-1B, PERM, L-1, O-1, global transfers) into intuitive, scalable platform experiences.
  • Build and launch AI-powered, automation-first features for document parsing, eligibility checks, predictive timelines, and real-time compliance tracking.
  • Deeply analyze customer needs and business problems to identify pain points and growth opportunities.
  • Rapidly develop impactful and elegant solutions to address specific problems and optimize user experiences.
  • Strategically think about the product from a high-level perspective, connecting the missing dots and shaping the roadmap for growth.
  • Take full ownership of your work throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to design, review, feedback, testing, and post-release analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of highly talented Product Designers, Engineers, and Growth experts to execute your vision and deliver exceptional results.
  • Embrace the opportunity to redefine the way people work globally and contribute to our journey of innovation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of product management experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably with scale-ups or startups.
  • Strong expertise in building products with complex compliance or regulatory considerations, including HR tech, fintech, mobility, or similar sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously, leading initiatives and driving growth with minimal supervision.
  • Strong PLG (Product-Led Growth) mindset and an appetite to focus on business metrics rather than solely owning one customer problem or area.
  • Strong understanding of both user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles, ensuring the product delivers seamless and intuitive experiences.
  • Experience in A/B testing, experimentation, and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize product performance and drive growth.
  • Prior knowledge of B2B experience, SEO knowledge, and expertise in optimizing SEO and conversion funnels is a plus.

Total Rewards

Deel offers fair and competitive pay, along with scalable benefits, rewards, and perks designed to be inclusive and accessible. Some benefits include stock grant opportunities (dependent on role and location) and additional country-specific perks. This is a remote role with optional WeWork access.

Deel is an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates regardless of background or protected characteristics. Accommodations for disabilities are available upon request during the recruitment process. Our hiring process primarily involves interviews and role-related assessments, potentially utilizing Automated Employment Decision Tools (AEDT) and AI systems for initial candidate evaluation, with human oversight in all final hiring decisions. Your personal data is not used to train AI models. For NYC residents, an independent bias audit of AEDT results is available.
