About The Role

As a SOX Compliance Specialist at Deel, you will support the development and maintenance of the company’s internal control framework. This role combines hands-on SOX execution with project coordination to ensure SOX-related activities are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the SOX internal control framework.
• Execute SOX activities including documentation, testing, and remediation.
• Plan and track SOX projects and deliverables.
• Manage workstreams and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Review SOC 1 reports and assess internal controls.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of SOX compliance experience (SOX 404).
• CPA Certification required.
• Experience in building internal control environments.
• Strong project management and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FinTech and Big 4 or public company environments.
• Background in Internal Audit is an advantage.
