About The Solutions Engineer, IT Role

Deel is seeking a strategic and technically savvy Solutions Engineer, IT to closely partner with the Deel IT Sales Team. In this crucial role, you will collaborate with Account Executives and Product teams, guiding prospective clients through Deel’s rapidly expanding IT product suite. This suite encompasses global hardware procurement to Device Lifecycle Management Logistics. You will be instrumental in transforming intricate client requirements into practical, scalable, and compliant solutions, providing support throughout the entire sales process, from initial discovery to implementation hand-off.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Account Executives in pre-sales cycles to identify technical and operational challenges related to global IT equipment deployment, asset lifecycle management, and cross-border workforce support.
  • Design and present customized IT solution packages, which may include device procurement/leasing, HRIS integrations, global device lifecycle solutions, and SLA-backed managed services.
  • Serve as the technical expert in client meetings, responsible for product demonstrations, RFP responses, IT security reviews, and in-depth product discussions.
  • Translate customer workflows and requirements into proposed configurations and processes within Deel’s IT platform.
  • Provide expert advice on implementation considerations across various geographies, including compliance, import/export logistics, and local market specificities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Legal, and Enablement teams to advocate for prospect needs, accelerate deal velocity, and refine value propositions.
  • Stay current with evolving trends in global workforce IT support.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, or similar role, preferably within SaaS, IT Asset Management, or HR Tech.
  • A strong grasp of IT procurement, device lifecycle management, or SaaS integrations (e.g., ITSM systems, MDM, SSO, Endpoint Security).
  • Ability to confidently discuss APIs, data flows, and systems architecture with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, capable of simplifying complex solutions and clearly articulating Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the capacity to manage competing priorities within fast-moving sales cycles.
  • A deep analytical mindset with the capability to create Excel-based tools for client solutions.
  • Bonus: Experience supporting enterprise clients in multi-country environments.
