Summary of the Senior Product Marketing Manager Role

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will work collaboratively with the product, sales, design, marketing, and copywriting teams to develop marketing campaigns to increase awareness, retention, and engagement for new and existing products. You will be responsible for developing the product positioning, building go-to-market plans, researching and advocating for customers, and owning the growth strategy for new customer-facing products and features.

Responsibilities

  • Identify user needs by deeply understanding our customers and global product functionality to create data-driven insights.
  • Drive go-to-market launch strategies, owning value proposition, messaging, positioning, and audience strategy.
  • Collaborate with brand and regional marketing teams to create compelling, high-impact campaigns for product adoption, growth, and retention.
  • Develop research plans to uncover customer insights, steer the product roadmap, and analyze the competitive landscape.
  • Run experiments to test hypotheses and apply analytical rigor to campaigns for informing GTM strategy.
  • Deliver campaigns with a strong bias for growth and business impact.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of work experience in B2B or B2C product, growth, or consumer marketing in a fast-paced environment (preferably hyper-growth global tech).
  • Payroll and/or HR software knowledge and marketing experience are a significant plus.
  • Extensive experience setting strategic direction and project managing complex go-to-market campaigns requiring cross-functional input.
  • Strong track record in consumer marketing and understanding of channels: in-product, digital, PR, and offline activations.
  • A product mindset and proven tight collaboration with product teams.
  • A strong collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple cross-functional partners.
