The Role: Senior Product Manager

As a Senior Product Manager at Deel, you will own and influence the product strategy, roadmap, and GTM for internal platforms, data pipelines, and APIs. This technical PM role requires close collaboration with engineering leads and other senior leaders to deliver best-in-class experiences to a global customer base.

You will be responsible for the roadmap for ingestion, processing, and API capabilities, ensuring downstream products are reliable, scalable, and easy to build on. The platform ingests, validates, and transforms high-volume operational data from various sources.

What You’ll Do

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for data ingestion and processing pipelines, SDKs, and external/internal APIs.
• Build a clear vision, strategy, and execution path for your area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with a team of highly talented product designers, engineers, and product experts to execute your vision and deliver exceptional results.
• Prioritize work across reliability, performance, compliance, and new enabling capabilities for product teams.
• Improve developer experience with clear documentation, versioning strategy, deprecation policies, sandbox environments, and reference implementations.
• Work with internal product teams to gather requirements, sequence dependencies, and ensure smooth integrations.
• Communicate platform value clearly through narratives, diagrams, dashboards, and regular updates to stakeholders.
• Balance core product development with high-priority client escalations in a high-speed, remote-first working environment.
• Lead incident post-mortems and drive systemic fixes to reduce operational toil and manual interventions.
• Leverage all of the core PM skills you have honed to date to drive progress through the entire product development lifecycle.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years in Product Management with significant time as a technical or platform PM.
• Experience owning APIs, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, or backend platforms at scale.
• Comfort working closely with engineering counterparts.
• Strong documentation and internal stakeholder communication skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize and deliver in environments with complex dependencies.
