What You'll Do

• Be a part of a truly cross-functional team; Backend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers and QA’s
• Participate in product planning (From discovery all the way to deployment); We want your input at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle!
• Collaborate! Our teams work together to develop robust new features, API’s, continuously improve our industry-leading products and find and fix any bugs at DeelSpeed
• Ensure our customers receive a white-glove experience with our products!

What You'll Bring

• Expert knowledge of TypeScript and React.js - particularly Class Components, Functional Components and React Hooks
• Great knowledge of state management tools
• Expertise with the essentials, such as HTML and CSS
• Firm understanding of server side languages (we use Node.js on the Back-End)
• At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Ability to advise on best practices and be a thought leader in your field

Who You Are

• 7+ years of experience as a frontend or full-stack developer
• Excel in the art of designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using the tech listed above
• Thrive in a collaborative, remote-first work culture where teamwork, camaraderie, and being Together Everywhere are key
• Embrace independence and take ownership of your projects, yet also excel in a team setting and love to contribute
• Communicate complex ideas with ease and enjoy collaborating with diverse teams of technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Passionate about solving customer problems with your coding superpowers, and approach challenges with Default Optimism whilst maintaining a balanced perspective in all aspects of your work
• Take a business-focused approach to software development, with a keen eye on delivering high-value outcomes for our clients
