About The Role: Data Analyst, Sales
Deel rapidly achieved $100M revenue as one of the fastest SaaS companies and is on track to become the fastest to $1B ARR. Fueled by a vast market and rapid innovation, Deel has vastly expanded its product suite and customer base. With over 20,000 global customers, customer success is a strategic priority. As a Data Analyst, Sales, you will collaborate closely with Sales leadership and teams worldwide to enhance product selling effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Work within the data team, collaborating with data engineers, analytics engineers, and other analysts to advance internal tools.
- Engage directly with senior Sales stakeholders to understand their data needs.
- Drive the strategic direction of sales performance and forecasting data models and reporting infrastructure, developing dashboards in Looker.
- Support data enrichment for Sales tools, providing Sales Representatives with essential insights directly within their workflows.
- Own the definition, quality, and reliability of crucial Sales metrics, such as Quota attainments and Sales pipeline funnel.
- Collaborate with analytics engineering to evolve our dbt model infrastructure.
- Work closely with data science teams to refine forecasting models.
- Build comprehensive reporting in Looker, ranging from highly curated dashboards for thousands of viewers to customizable self-service frameworks for specific stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, Computer Science, or another STEM field.
- At least 5 years of experience in an analytical role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tell simple, compelling stories using data.
- Strong collaborative skills, working effectively with diverse teams.
- Highly proficient in SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tooling, preferably Looker.
- Some experience in data modeling and metrics design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dbt and LookML.
- Familiarity with Sales platforms such as Salesforce, Gong, or Outreach.
- Experience with version control tools like GitHub or GitLab.
- Previous experience working for fast-growing B2B SaaS companies.
- Experience within commercial domains like Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Customer Success.
