Responsibilities of a Customer Onboarding Manager
- Guide customers through low to medium-touch onboarding and offboarding journeys effectively.
- Support teammates with escalations and daily questions regarding processes and Deel products.
- Take on additional responsibilities to lead complex projects, driving process and product enhancements to benefit wider teams.
- Become a Deel product expert to ensure prompt and successful customer setup.
- Resolve client issues and proactively champion their success.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Support, Operations, Product, and Engineering, to deliver superior customer experiences.
- Propose and implement ideas for optimizing customer onboarding workflows through process improvements and product automation. Lead key initiatives and internal projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in an onboarding or integration manager role, with a strong understanding of launching and managing complex onboarding journeys.
- Proven experience managing complex B2B SaaS products and rapidly gaining product expertise.
- A creative approach to problem-solving, embracing challenges with available tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and presentation.
- A skilled relationship builder who maintains composure during crises or criticism and celebrates partner successes.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management principles and the ability to successfully lead projects to completion.
- A reliable, motivated self-starter with a passionate growth mindset. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are resilient to setbacks, adapt to pivots, and excel in roles requiring high responsibility.
- A solid track record of achievement, such as success in a top-tier company, quantifiable business impact, quick assumption of responsibilities, or competitive awards.
- Strong analytical foundation with the ability to manipulate and synthesize data.
