The Role: Customer Onboarding Manager, PEO

As a Customer Onboarding Manager, PEO, you will be the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for Deel's clients, both internally and externally. Your core responsibility will involve successfully onboarding clients and establishing durable relationships that ensure their long-term success with Deel. You will provide strategic guidance during the onboarding phase, addressing operational and product-related inquiries. Simultaneously, you will act as a client advocate internally, championing new products and capabilities to foster client business expansion with Deel. Project management of all involved stakeholders will be crucial for facilitating on-time onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through low and medium-touch onboarding and offboarding journeys.
  • Support teammates with escalations and daily questions regarding processes and Deel products.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities to lead complex projects and drive process/product improvements impacting wider teams.
  • Ensure customer success through timely setup by becoming an expert in Deel products.
  • Problem-solve client issues and proactively advocate for client success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams like Sales, Support, Operations, Product, and Engineering to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Suggest and implement ideas for optimizing customer onboarding workflows through process improvements and product automation.
  • Lead key initiatives and internal projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in an onboarding or integration manager role, with a strong understanding of launching and managing complex onboarding journeys.
  • 1-2 years of experience with Professional Employer Organization (PEO).
  • Experience managing a complex B2B SaaS product and quickly becoming a product expert.
  • Demonstrated creative approach to problem-solving and eagerness to tackle challenges with available tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and presentation.
  • A strong relationship builder who maintains composure during crises or criticism and celebrates partner successes.
  • Proven understanding of project management principles and the ability to lead projects to successful completion.
  • A reliable, motivated self-starter with a passionate growth mindset, thriving in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments.
  • Solid track record of achievement, evidenced by success in a top-tier company, quantifiable business impact, rapid assumption of responsibilities, or competitive awards.
  • Strong analytical foundation with the ability to manipulate and synthesize data.
  • Curious by nature and driven to make a significant impact.
