About The Role
As a Credit Risk Modeler at Deel, you will design, develop, validate, and maintain credit risk models that underpin sustainable credit decision-making, regulatory compliance, and data-driven insights. You will be a core member of the Credit Risk & Analytics function, ensuring models are audit-ready, explainable, and aligned with regulatory and internal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and calibrate credit risk models.
- Ensure models are audit-ready and compliant.
- Support validation activities and monitor performance metrics.
- Maintain documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and validation results.
- Communicate complex model outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Apply explainable AI techniques to boost transparency.
Skills And Competencies
Minimum 7 years experience in credit risk modeling or risk analytics. Strong expertise in quantitative modeling, regulatory compliance, model governance and audit-ready practices. Advanced degree in a quantitative field is required; professional certifications are a plus.
