Responsibilities of an Account Executive Benelux

  • Manage a designated list of prospective or existing accounts and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for new business acquisition and existing account expansion.
  • Lead the entire sales process, from initial prospecting and discovery to negotiation and deal closure.
  • Present customized solutions and effectively articulate Deel’s unique value proposition.
  • Maintain a robust and healthy sales pipeline through proactive outbound outreach, efficient inbound lead management, and ongoing client engagement.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, including SDR, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Sales Ops, and Legal, to address client needs and ensure a smooth experience.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and diligently update CRM data, including account specifics, activities, opportunities, and pipeline status.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and yearly revenue targets.
  • Provide valuable feedback on customer requirements, market trends, and potential product enhancements to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Possess relevant B2B sales experience, with specific expectations tailored to the role's level and segment as per Deel’s job architecture.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving revenue targets and successfully managing complete sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to forge strong client relationships and navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation proficiencies.
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced or high-growth environments.
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, customer-centric selling) is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and established sales processes; adept at managing pipeline and forecasting with precision.
  • A track record of successfully developing a greenfield territory across the BENELUX region, securing net new logos within mid-sized and large enterprise accounts.
  • Exhibit a collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented mindset coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a continuous willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Be fully proficient in both Dutch and English.
