About the Role: DevOps Engineer - Operations at Dedalus
Join Dedalus as a DevOps Engineer - Operations within our Software Development & Environment Management Team. As part of one of the world’s leading healthcare technology companies, you will manage and optimize ORBIS® environments, ensuring seamless software development, testing, and delivery throughout the lifecycle.
What You'll Achieve
You will be responsible for planning, installing, managing, and maintaining all ORBIS® environments and their related systems. Your role involves supporting the full software lifecycle—from development and CI to QA and release—to ensure stability, availability, and compliance. Your contributions directly enable high-quality software delivery within global healthcare systems.
- Plan, install, and manage ORBIS® environments across all lifecycle phases—development, CI, QA, production release, and decommissioning.
- Perform environment operations and maintenance including upgrades, updates, software installation, health checks, monitoring, and archiving.
- Monitor infrastructure proactively and resolve issues to ensure optimal availability of environments and services.
- Analyze logs and manage defects related to updates.
- Package ORBIS® software deliveries and execute technical checks to ensure content quality and compliance.
- Support internal customers such as developers, QA engineers, testers, and other teams using ORBIS® systems.
- Automate workflows in close collaboration with tooling developers.
- Onboard new software components into the Test Environment Landscape in partnership with testers, product owners, and developers.

Essential Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Science in IT or equivalent.
Experience
- Experience in service-oriented or customer-facing IT environments.
- 5+ years of technical IT experience in software administration and operations.
- Hands-on skills with:
- Scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
- Linux OS
- Ansible
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of additional scripting languages (Python, Go, Groovy).
- Experience in operation/administration of ORBIS®.
- Familiarity with GIT, Jenkins, Jira, Terraform.
- Strong interest in automation and workflow optimization.
- Ability to understand system dependencies and their infrastructure impact.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel tasks.
- High attention to detail and quality.
- Customer-focused and service-oriented.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
