Responsibilities of a Sports Retail Advisor

1st Responsibility: Deliver a WOW Customer Experience

• Greet, smile, and engage with customers to understand their specific needs.
• Be well-equipped to interact and engage effectively with customers.
• Promote sports by actively engaging customers through various sports communities.
• Practice your sport and inspire customers to join relevant sports communities.
• Stay informed and encourage customers to participate in Decathlon events or local sports activities related to their interests.
• Ensure every customer is satisfied with their experience.
• Propose the right products & services tailored to the needs of your customers.
• Utilize all Decathlon channels (in-store, .in, App) to fully satisfy customer needs.
• Propose relevant services such as buyback, repair & maintenance, and personalization.
• Ensure a smooth and efficient checkout experience.
• Prioritize the customer; make yourself available regardless of current tasks.
• Suggest complementary products to enhance the customer's sports practice experience.
• Ensure product availability by maintaining reliable, up-to-date, and responsible inventory to support omnichannel availability.
• Ensure all signages are updated for customers, enabling self-informed choices.
• Take accountability for product delivery processes.

2nd Responsibility: Create a WOW Store Experience

• Ensure the store layout is best-in-class for an optimal customer journey.
• Maintain a safe layout for yourself, your team, and your customers.
• Ensure the store layout is welcoming, seductive, and engaging.
• Ensure customers can test all our solutions and products.
• Know and highlight the best omnichannel offer to your customers, both offline and online.
• Be knowledgeable about the complete product offer in your store and online.
• Ensure your customer will find the entire range of products for their sports practice – either in-store or online.
• Suggest the best possible solution to your customer as per their specific need.
• Ensure all necessary services for your sport are available to your customer.
• Highlight Decathlon's Circular offer and relevant services.
