Acquisition Analyst

DCS Corporation is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to execute acquisition management requirements with specialized FMS expertise. This role supports the entire product line for PM Air Warrior in Huntsville, AL and is critical to international defense programs in support of U.S. security cooperation objectives.

Essential Functions

• Draft professional correspondence and program documentation for FMS case management.
• Develop and deliver briefings, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and international partners.
• Support preparation of P&A responses, LOAs, and Case Amendments.
• Conduct market research for acquisition planning and decision-making.
• Assist in contract oversight of FMS requirements and administer case budgets.
• Utilize project management tools to track milestones and actions.
• Maintain financial tracking, supporting budget planning and execution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including logistics, contracting, finance, and program management.
• Support customer engagement and status reporting with foreign partners.
• Assist in contracting strategy, prepare contracting documents, and coordinate with contracting organizations.

Required Skills and Experience

• U.S. Citizenship and Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 12 years total experience with 2–5 years in relevant acquisition, program analysis, or logistics roles.
• Familiarity with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) process and DSAMS, SCIP, or similar systems is a plus.
• Understanding of U.S. Army acquisition processes and lifecycle management.
• Experience with market research, analytic report production, and financial management tools such as GFEBS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional correspondence drafting.
