Acquisition Analyst
The Acquisition Analyst will execute acquisition management across an entire product line for a fast-paced program office in Huntsville, Alabama.
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs acquisition management across an entire product line.
- Coordinates products and taskings across acquisition process and life cycle phases.
- Prepares, configures, and staffs Milestone documentation.
- Assists with contracting strategy, prepares contracting documents, and coordinates with Army Contracting Command.
- Participates in source selection boards and conducts technical evaluations.
- Participates in product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations.
- Assists in contract oversight for assigned products.
- Maintains program budget and master schedule.
- Identifies cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs.
- Oversees preparation of Supply Requests Packages to Defense Logistics Agency.
- Manages transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment.
- Develops and drafts Acquisition Strategies, Plans, and related documents.
- Works with contracting personnel to achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintains configuration control.
- Prepares plans for product risk mitigation.
Required Skills:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Educational and experience prerequisites based on degree.
- Must have a Secret clearance.
- Up to 25% travel.
Desired Skills:
- DAWIA Level II certification or PMP Certification preferred.
- Knowledge in Product Life Cycle Management, Project Team Management, Acquisition and Contracting documents, WAWF, iRAPT, cost analysis, Project Management, database management, GFEBS, DODI 5000.02, Defense Acquisition System, JCIDS.
