Senior Test Analyst

About the Role

As a Senior Test Analyst at DBC Company, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through comprehensive testing strategies. You will work closely with development teams to analyze requirements, create test cases, execute tests, and report defects. This role requires a deep understanding of software testing principles and experience with various testing tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Experience in Functional Testing;
• In-depth understanding of software testing principles;
• Hands-on experience in creating, executing, and maintaining test cases;
• Requirements Analysis;
• Ability to analyze requirement documents and specifications to identify test scenarios;
• Test Management Tools;
• Experience with tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalents for managing test cases and reporting defects.

What is required to participate in this selection process?

• Knowledge in Agile Methodologies: Understanding of Scrum or Kanban methodologies and experience in agile environments;
• Testing Techniques: Familiarity with different types of tests, including regression, integration, and user acceptance;
• Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with development teams, product management, and other stakeholders.

What is required to participate in this selection process? (Continued)

• Knowledge in Test Automation: Experience with automation tools such as Cypress, JMeter, and Postman;
• Ability to write automation scripts and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD process;
• Certifications: Certifications like ISTQB Foundation Level, CTFL, or similar are a plus;
• Experience in API Testing: Familiarity with tools like Postman or SoapUI for testing APIs;
• Knowledge in Databases: Experience with SQL queries to validate data and perform back-end testing.
