Overview
The Logistics Data Entry Clerk at DB Schenker is responsible for opening files used by departments and branches to track, control, bill, and manage shipments from Asia to North America.
Principal Accountabilities
- File shipment creation and data entry.
- Container and shipment internet tracking and tracing.
- Telephone-based shipment tracking and tracing.
- Follow-up on documents from Schenker’s overseas office.
- Provide shipment updates and customer service.
- Perform clerical duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
- Keyboarding/typing speed: 60-70 WPM with accuracy.
- Ability to work flexibly and as a team player.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
