The Role: Senior IT Manager, EMEA
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior IT Manager, EMEA. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of Information Technology within the European region. You will be the primary IT partner for our European business leaders and users, ensuring that all IT systems, infrastructure, and services are reliable, secure, and efficient. A key part of this role is to act as the bridge between our European operations and our global IT headquarters in Singapore, ensuring regional needs are met while maintaining alignment with the overall corporate IT strategy and direction. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in SAP, the Microsoft Power Platform, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Azure).
Key Responsibilities
- Regional IT Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute the IT strategy and roadmap for the European region, in full alignment with the global IT vision set by the SVP of IT and Singapore HQ. Act as the primary IT business partner for all European stakeholders, understanding their challenges and proposing technology solutions. Manage the regional IT budget, including operational expenses and capital expenditures.
- Operations and Infrastructure: Oversee the stability, security, and performance of all regional IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and end-user computing. Manage the IT support helpdesk for European users, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. Implement and enforce global IT security policies and ensure compliance with regional regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Business Applications (SAP & Microsoft): Provide oversight and support for our SAP environment in Europe, collaborating with global teams on rollouts, upgrades, and support. Champion the adoption and development of solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) to drive business process automation and data analytics. Manage the full suite of Microsoft products, including Microsoft 365, Azure services, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments.
- Global Coordination & Alignment: Serve as the main point of contact for all IT matters in Europe, liaising directly with the IT team in our Singapore HQ. Ensure all regional projects, policies, and procurement are communicated and approved by global IT leadership. Facilitate regular governance meetings between regional and global teams to ensure alignment and report on performance.
- Vendor and Project Management: Manage relationships with local and regional IT vendors, software providers, and service partners. Lead and execute regional IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications And Skills
- Experience: Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar IT leadership role, managing IT for a multi-country region (preferably Europe).
- Language: Full professional fluency in English (both written and verbal) is essential, ability to communicate in Mandarin or any European languages is an advantage.
- SAP Experience: Functional or technical experience supporting and managing an SAP S4HANA system.
- Microsoft Platform Expertise: Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Microsoft Ecosystem: Deep knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, Azure (IaaS, PaaS), Active Directory, and Windows Server management.
- Global Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization, with experience coordinating and aligning with a remote corporate HQ (experience with APAC/Singapore is a major plus).
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform, Azure Administrator, PMP, ITIL).
- Experience in the Data centre / construction industry sector.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and data privacy regulations (GDPR).
- Fluency in other European languages (e.g., Finnish / Swedish / Spanish).
