The Opportunity for a Services Project Manager
The Dayforce Services Delivery team is expanding and actively seeking experienced Project Managers to join their team in the Australia/NZ region. In this role, you will be crucial in the implementation and delivery assurance of Dayforce’s next-generation Human Capital Management (HCM) solution. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to be based anywhere across Australia and New Zealand.
Role Responsibilities
As a Services Project Manager, you will demonstrate adaptability and agility while managing multiple projects that vary in size, scope, complexity, and methodology. Your engagements may include:
- Delivery Assurance/Audit for Partner-led implementations
- Dayforce-led Value-Added Services (VAS) projects for existing customers
- Dayforce-led implementations for new customers
You will be responsible for meticulously managing project time, scope, and budget, all while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering multiple concurrent projects, collaborating closely with consultants in a matrix environment to ensure quality, on-time, and on-budget implementations.
- Building constructive working relationships with Customers, Partners, and Dayforce’s internal specialist areas to support both Dayforce-led and Partner-led implementations.
- Utilising the Dayforce Methodology to drive implementations to successful completion, ensuring high customer satisfaction and referenceability.
- Planning, managing, and communicating project progress, achieving milestones, and maintaining project momentum.
- Setting and managing partner and customer expectations regarding project governance, scope and timeline, risk management, organisational readiness, and stakeholder responsibilities.
- Presenting and managing sign-off of key milestones and deliverables, such as Project Charter, Kick-off, Status Reports, Change Requests (CRs), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Support Transition, and Project Closure.
- Managing the Change Request process, including capturing changes in scope, cost, and/or timeline.
- Contributing to the enhancement of Dayforce's Delivery Assurance and Implementation Methodology, providing feedback on tools and templates for continuous improvement and best practices.
Skills and Experience Valued by Dayforce
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of project management expertise and HCM domain knowledge:
- Project Management accreditation such as PMI/PMP (Required).
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience in Project and Change Management within dynamic teams.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work in or be flexible to work in an agile and fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and process-orientated mindset.
- High-level proficiency in software applications including Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint & Excel), Smartsheet, and Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for successfully managing internal and external customers and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Strategic analysis capabilities and strong commercial acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work autonomously as well as manage a cohesive (virtual) team, driving results through a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proven experience in developing, leading, and facilitating working sessions and business reporting presentations.
- Capability to manage multiple stakeholder requests and inquiries concurrently.
