About the Services Project Manager Role at Dayforce

The Dayforce Services Delivery team is actively seeking experienced Services Project Managers to lead the implementation and delivery assurance of Dayforce's next-generation Human Capital Management (HCM) solution within the Australia/NZ region. This fully remote role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to manage diverse projects, leveraging your adaptability and agility.

As a Services Project Manager, you will oversee engagements including Delivery Assurance/Audit for Partner-led implementations, Dayforce-led Value-Added Services (VAS) projects for existing customers, and new Dayforce-led implementations. Your primary responsibilities will involve meticulously managing project time, scope, and budget, while consistently ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

What You'll Get To Do

  • Deliver multiple concurrent projects, collaborating with consultants in a matrix environment to ensure quality, on-time, and on-budget implementations.
  • Build constructive working relationships with Customers, Partners, and Dayforce’s internal specialist areas for successful Dayforce-led and Partner-led implementations.
  • Utilise the Dayforce Methodology to drive implementations to successful completion, fostering high customer satisfaction and referenceability.
  • Plan, manage, and communicate project progress, achieving milestones and maintaining project momentum.
  • Set and manage partner and customer expectations regarding project governance, scope, timeline, risk management, organisational readiness, and stakeholder responsibilities.
  • Present and manage sign-off for key milestones and deliverables, including project Charter, Kick-off, Status Reports, Change Requests (CRs), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Support Transition, and Project Closure.
  • Manage the Change Request process, accurately capturing changes in scope, cost, and/or timeline.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of Dayforce's Delivery Assurance and Implementation Methodology by providing feedback on tools and templates for continuous improvement and best practices.

Skills and Experience We Value

  • Project Management accreditation such as PMI/PMP (Required).
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in Project and Change Management within dynamic teams.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
  • Ability to work in or adapt to an agile and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, coupled with a logical and process-orientated mindset.
  • High-level proficiency in software applications including Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint & Excel), Smartsheet, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, crucial for successfully managing internal and external customers and achieving high satisfaction.
  • Strategic analysis capabilities and strong commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work autonomously and manage a cohesive (virtual) multi-disciplinary team, driving results.
  • Proven experience in developing, leading, and facilitating working sessions and business reporting presentations.
  • Capability to manage multiple stakeholder requests and inquiries simultaneously.
