About The Opportunity
This Services Consultant, Web Services and API role's primary responsibility is to support a customer in the setup of standard people connectors and Web Services/API consulting. The normal cycle is discovery, configuration (by the customer), testing, deployment, and production monitoring.

- Dayforce to Oracle
- SuccessFactors to Dayforce
- Workday to Dayforce
- Microsoft to Dayforce
The consultant will also engage with customers who are setting up APIs with Dayforce. You will work with customers who are setting up APIs to consult on best practices to extract data from and bring data into Dayforce.
Other key duties are the management of the customers’ expectations as it relates to scope, additional scope, effort of the project, the timeline or duration of the project, managing expectations on the deliverables of the customer along with other dependencies. The consultant will also need to learn, know and understand Dayforce Integration Studio and how APIs and standard integrations are set up in this tool.
This role does NOT develop code, but knowledge of how to do so is a benefit.
What You’ll Get To Do
- Engagement with a customer/vendor to understand the client’s requirement for an integration, or API and assess the effort and duration required to satisfy the requirement.
- With the customer, perform day in the life test cases to ensure that the integration test scenarios’ pass the vendors and customers requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine failures as determined by either the vendor or customer.
- Provide customer with updates to effort and duration if the scope of the project is changing.
- Follow up with customers/vendors or internal partners to drive closure of the project.
Skills And Experience We Value
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5 years working in the integration field.
- Dayforce integration and API experience is preferred.
- Excellent English, written and spoken is required.
- Analytical thinking is required.
- Experience in human capital management application consulting a benefit.
- Experience working with APIs/Web Services is preferred.
- Technical skills requirements such as SQL are a benefit.
- Ability to analyze and determine root cause analysis is a benefit.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Customer relationship acumen.
- Ability to engage with multiple projects & customers at the same time and manage priorities.
- Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead and facilitate customer workshops and sessions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
