About the Role
Join Dayforce as a Remote Site Reliability Engineer. You will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and availability of our state-of-the-art products.
What You’ll Do
- Learn Dayforce’s cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Onboard new features ensuring production readiness.
- Improve reliability, SRE processes and automate tasks.
- Participate in incidents and remediate issues.
- Create and maintain runbooks and reusable components.
- Contribute to the inner source SRE repository.
- Develop trusted relationships across the business.
- Participate in PagerDuty On-Call rotations as required.
Skills And Experience
- Must obtain or possess Canadian Protected B security clearance.
- 2-4 years of experience in SRE, system administration, or related fields.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure Preferred).
- Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (C# and Java preferred).
- Experience with a scripting language (Python and PowerShell preferred).
- Experience with databases (MSSQL/TSQL and Postgres/PLSQL preferred).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, and Terraform is a plus.
Additional Requirements
U.S. applicants must pass a Dayforce background screening including credit, criminal, and drug tests. Only US citizens, US naturalized citizens, or US Permanent Residents are considered. Canadian applicants must have 5+ years residency and secure Canadian Protected B clearance.
