Role Overview: Principal AI Engineer

The Principal AI Engineer will lead the architecture, development, and implementation of cutting-edge AI and Generative AI solutions across our enterprise. You will play a key role in shaping and advancing our Enterprise AI Platform, owning core tools and infrastructure that power AI innovation company-wide.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and Build AI Solutions: Design end-to-end AI applications for complex enterprise challenges.
• Hands-On Development: Lead engineering and deployment of AI assistants and agents using both code-first and low/no-code approaches.
• AI Platform Ownership: Own and evolve enterprise AI infrastructure and toolchain while integrating new AI frameworks.
• Experimentation and Innovation: Rapidly prototype new AI features, conduct proofs of concept, and roll out production solutions.
• MLOps & Automation: Develop robust pipelines for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, engineering, data science, and business teams to align on AI solutions.
• Governance & Responsible AI: Champion data privacy, security compliance, and model interpretability.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Serve as a technical mentor and thought leader, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Skills And Experience

• 10+ years in software engineering, distributed systems, or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years focused on AI/ML engineering, platforms, or applications.
• Proven lead role directing and coaching technical teams.
• Expertise in AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and cloud AI platforms (AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with strong system design skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
