We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Automation Engineer with expertise in event messaging infrastructure and architecture, specifically Kafka related self-managed and cloud implementations. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, building, and managing the operational lifecycle of event-driven systems and cloud automation pipelines. This is a technical, hands-on position with a strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and performance.What You'll Get To Do
- Design, deploy, and manage highly available and scalable event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka and related technologies.
- Lead the automation and optimization of infrastructure and application workflows across cloud platforms.
- Ensure operational stability and performance of event infrastructure including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and platform teams to define best practices around event messaging and cloud automation.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines to support event services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, middleware, and application issues in production and non-production environments.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and documentation regarding event infrastructure strategy.
Skills And Experience We Value
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or systems architecture roles.
- Strong expertise in Kafka (design, administration, monitoring, tuning).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure and AWS.
- Solid understanding of event streaming, messaging patterns, and real-time data pipelines.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using tools such as Terraform and Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a focus on reliability and observability.
