Position Overview

As a P & C Adjuster Bodily Injury at Davies North America, you will adjust third party claims related to bodily injury, personal injury or wrongdoing. This full-time, home-based role requires occasional travel for claims meetings, continuing education seminars, and scene investigations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and progress new claims assignments within 24 hours.
• Communicate promptly with insured, claimants, and witnesses.
• Coordinate appraisers, gather evidence, and record claim details accurately.
• Maintain compliance with client guidelines and internal protocols.
• Manage claim system reminders and documentation meticulously.
• Keep up with CEU requirements and adjuster licensure.
• Coordinate with defense counsel and follow excess carrier policies.
• Adopt a proactive approach in multi-tasking and prioritizing work.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

The ideal candidate has a college degree or equivalent experience and holds an Adjuster license with current CEU credits. You should have excellent knowledge of Tort Law, liability principles, and medical terminology along with prior experience in settling bodily injury claims. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, superior communication, time management, and documentation skills are essential.
