David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable. Led by CEO Peter Rahal, former CEO of RXBAR, we aim to become the most popular high-protein bar in North America and beyond.

Role Overview

The Videographer & Editor will own daily video capture and editing at David. You will document authentic moments across R&D, leadership, culture, and product development, turning them into engaging video content for both social media and long-term storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Content Capture & Production: Capture high-quality video across R&D, product development, leadership sessions and company culture. Ensure daily filming cadence and manage lighting, sound, and equipment for professional results. Archive milestone footage for long-term brand use.
  • Editing & Post-Production: Edit short-form content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts, and long-form storytelling for YouTube and internal use. Apply creative direction, pacing, and music to produce impactful content. Maintain organized project files and a digital asset management system.
  • Creative Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with Communications, Creative, and Growth Teams to align on content priorities and brand tone. Participate in brainstorming for campaign ideas and video storytelling formats, ensuring footage supports campaigns, PR, and leadership initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

2+ years of experience in videography and editing (brand, creator, or agency background preferred). Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit independently with minimal oversight. Strong grasp of social storytelling, pacing, and platform-specific trends with mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Capcut, or similar tools. Excellent sense of composition, lighting, and sound coupled with creative instincts and operational discipline.

This is a full-time, in-office role based in New York City.
