Role Summary

The Health Information Specialist I is responsible for handling medical record requests. This involves taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys as well as documenting medical record statuses accurately using multiple platforms and two computer monitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume medical record requests.
  • Handle inbound calls from diverse stakeholders.
  • Document record statuses across multiple systems.
  • Use Microsoft Office including Word and Excel proficiently.
