The Team
Join a group of tech-oriented writers and editors creating content for Datadog's main blog, "The Monitor". This team covers in-depth observability, monitoring best practices, and industry trends.
What You’ll Do
- Research, write, and pitch articles including deep dives, guides, tutorials, and feature announcements.
- Collaborate with editors, product managers, engineers, and designers to refine clarity and technical accuracy.
- Develop innovative formats for conveying original research and technical tips.
- Measure reader engagement and iterate to improve content impact.
Who You Are
You are a polished technical writer with 2-4 years of experience or equivalent qualifications. Proficiency in programming (Python, Go, Java, Ruby, etc.) and familiarity with modern monitoring, microservices, CI/CD, and distributed systems is essential. You are also comfortable learning and explaining new technologies.
