About the Role

Datadog is seeking a Senior Product Designer Dashboards to solve complex problems through innovative design solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to design dashboards that nearly every Datadog customer uses to monitor applications and troubleshoot issues.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs.
  • Translate insights from research into sketches, prototypes, and final designs.
  • Work closely with engineering teams for design build-out and quality assurance.
  • Advocate for your design decisions across the company.
  • Drive product roadmap and vision for the dashboards area.

Who You Are

You have over 5 years of industry experience in digital product design with a portfolio that reflects intuitive and scalable solutions for web applications. You are skilled in visual and written communication, adept at translating technical concepts into user-friendly designs, and proficient with modern UX/UI tools such as Figma. You are comfortable collaborating, giving and receiving feedback, and addressing complex technical design challenges.

Bonus Points

  • Experience designing developer tools or dashboard/reporting tools.
  • Background in SaaS or B2B startup environments.
