Overview
Datadog is seeking a motivated and experienced Security Sales Engineer to join our dynamic Enterprise Sales Engineering team. In this role, you will drive our security sales efforts by providing technical expertise, delivering compelling solutions in customer engagements, and supporting the entire sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Enterprise Security Sales team in promoting Datadog’s security offering.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand and address customer security requirements.
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations and presentations.
- Provide technical expertise during evaluations, proof-of-value initiatives, and proposal creation.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Datadog's security products, industry trends, and vulnerabilities.
- Relay customer feedback to product and engineering teams.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars.
Who You Are
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field. You have hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, SOC workflows, endpoint security, and cloud security on AWS, Azure, and GCP. Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential, along with a strong grasp of security principles and DevOps ecosystems. You are willing to travel up to 30%.
