Overview
Datadog is seeking a motivated and experienced Security Sales Engineer US East to join our dynamic enterprise sales engineering team. In this role, you will drive our security sales efforts with technical expertise and compelling solutions. You will collaborate with the enterprise sales engineers and sales team to identify customer needs, craft go-to-market strategies, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Support the Enterprise Security Sales team in driving adoption of Datadog’s security offering.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand security requirements in strategic accounts.
- Deliver detailed product demonstrations and presentations.
- Provide technical expertise during evaluations and proof-of-value initiatives.
- Develop deep product knowledge and stay current with industry trends and vulnerabilities.
- Create technical proposals, documentation, and sales materials.
- Relay customer feedback to product management and engineering teams.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars.
Who You Are
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with deep experience in SIEM platforms, SOC workflows, endpoint security, and cloud security technologies. You possess excellent presentation skills, a strong understanding of security principles and DevOps ecosystems, and are ready to travel up to 30% as needed.
