Job Overview - Security Sales Engineer

Datadog is seeking a motivated and experienced Security Sales Engineer to join our dynamic enterprise sales engineering team. This role plays a critical part in driving security sales by providing technical expertise and delivering compelling solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Enterprise Security Sales team in driving adoption of Datadog’s security solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand and address customer security requirements.
  • Deliver detailed product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Provide technical support during evaluations and proof-of-value initiatives.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Datadog's security products and industry trends.
  • Create technical proposals, documentation, and sales material.
  • Relay customer feedback to product management to influence future developments.
  • Participate in industry events to promote security solutions.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with SIEM platforms, SOC workflows, and endpoint security.
  • Expertise in the developer/DevOps ecosystems and application security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
