Sales Engineer Customer Success LATAM

Datadog Sales Engineers are pivotal in qualifying and closing opportunities with customers and partners. You will leverage your technical expertise through compelling sales presentations, dynamic product demonstrations, and by supporting technical evaluations such as Proofs of Concept (POCs). A key aspect of this role involves influencing our product team by prioritizing features based on valuable insights gathered from customers, competitors, and partners. You will also collaborate with various internal teams to resolve customer concerns, escalate critical bug issues, and act as a dedicated ambassador for the Datadog brand. If you are seeking to join a dynamic, passionate team with unparalleled growth potential, we invite you to apply.

At Datadog, we strongly believe in the power of our office culture, fostering relationships, encouraging collaboration, and igniting creativity. We embrace a hybrid workplace model, ensuring our Datadogs achieve optimal work-life harmony.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner closely with the sales team to articulate the comprehensive Datadog value proposition, vision, and strategy to prospective clients.
  • Continuously engage in learning new technologies to enhance competitive knowledge, technical acumen, and professional credibility.
  • Deliver impactful product and technical presentations to potential clients.
  • Maintain a direct line of communication with the product team to collaboratively drive feature requests and product enhancements.
  • Assist clients with product onboarding and provide expert support when they encounter challenges, applying creative problem-solving to a diverse range of technical issues throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.

Who You Are:

  • Possess deep knowledge and experience with DevOps monitoring or architecture tools.
  • Demonstrate comfort and confidence in delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to both external customers and internal teams.
  • Exhibit a creative mindset for tackling a wide array of technical challenges, thriving in an environment where new situations arise daily.
  • Have prior experience in systems administration, specifically with Windows or Linux environments.
  • Able to sit for up to 4 hours and comfortable traveling to and from client sites, with the capacity to travel up to 25% of the time via auto, train, or air.

Datadog is committed to fostering an environment that values individuals from all backgrounds. We recognize that not every candidate will meet all qualifications on day one. If you possess a strong passion for technology and a drive to develop your skills, we strongly encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

  • Benefit from best-in-breed onboarding programs.
  • Receive generous global benefits packages.
  • Participate in an intra-departmental mentor and buddy program for robust in-house networking.
  • Receive new hire stock equity (RSUs) and participate in an employee stock purchase plan (ESPP).
  • Engage in continuous professional development, including comprehensive product training and clear career pathing.
  • Immerse yourself in an inclusive company culture, with opportunities to join our Community Guilds and Inclusion Talks.

Please note that benefits and growth opportunities may vary based on your country of employment and employment nature with Datadog.

Datadog provides a competitive salary and equity package, potentially including variable compensation. The final compensation will be determined by the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, Datadog offers a comprehensive suite of best-in-class, inclusive employee benefits, including healthcare, dental, parental planning, mental health support, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
