Principal Cloud Alliances Partner Manager, GCP at Datadog

As a Principal Cloud Alliances Partner Manager, you will lead and expand our Global Strategic Partnership with Google Cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for driving joint go-to-market initiatives, developing and executing the overall Datadog/Google Cloud partner plan, deepening technical integrations, executing agreements, and maximizing revenue opportunities through Google Cloud programs and sales motions. This position requires a highly strategic and execution-focused leader with a deep understanding of the Google Cloud ecosystem, cloud technologies, and partner management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own & Scale the Google Cloud GTM Partnership: Lead Datadog’s Global Alliance strategy with Google Cloud, managing key executive and field relationships.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Identify and execute joint business opportunities, including Marketplace transactions, co-selling initiatives, and Google Cloud funding programs.
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Collaborate with Google Cloud internal teams (sales, marketing, and product) to develop and launch integrated solutions, campaigns, and enablement programs. Work closely with Datadog cloud alliances managers globally to drive an effective global but local plan.
  • Technical & Product Alignment with GTM and Sales Plays: Work closely with Datadog’s product and engineering teams to promote Google Cloud integrations and ensure technical alignment with Google Cloud services.
  • Field & Partner Enablement: Train and support Datadog’s global cloud alliances managers and field sales teams on Google Cloud partnership benefits, co-sell motions, and marketplace offerings.
  • Measure & Optimize: Track partnership performance using key metrics (pipeline, revenue, GCP incentives) and continuously refine strategy to maximize impact.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in 10+ years of partner-facing business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales at a cloud services or software as a service organization
  • Skilled in driving sales, partner sourced and partner influenced opportunities
  • Able to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to others verbally and in writing
  • Experience working with Cloud Alliances and Tech Alliances (other ISVs) a plus.

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
